Privacy Policy
This page explains which data the transcription service needs, why it is used, and how users can control their materials.
Data we process
Transcript Bot may process uploaded audio and video files, YouTube links, selected speech language, job settings, account email, subscription details, and technical security logs.
Why it is needed
Data is used to run transcription, create subtitles and timecodes, show job status, account for usage limits, process payments, and protect the service from abuse.
Files and results
Files and generated results should be stored only as long as needed to provide the service, allow result download, and diagnose processing errors. A production deployment should define a clear automatic deletion period.
Payments
Recurring payments are handled through PayPal. Transcript Bot should not store full card details; payment status and subscription identifiers are used to activate plans.
Questions people ask
Do you store full card details?
No. Subscriptions and payments should be handled by PayPal.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Users should be able to request deletion of their account, files, and generated results.
